First day on land…

Arrived at the SEA campus and threw my stuff in my room headed out to grab some lunch with mom and pops, and run an errand or two. Headed back to campus for a quick orientation and said the goodbyes to the family. 

Got to interact with the roommates and plan meals, and then headed to Shaws, to buy said meals… everything went smoothly and it seems everyone really wants to eat healthy which is great! Lentils, quinoa, fruits veggies and home made pizza where just a few of our decisions! 

Everyone seems really cool, my housemates especially 4 guys and 5 girls. I’m upstairs on the boys floor with an equally messy, biogeochemist so it seems a match made in heaven. Talks have included caving, climbing, our adventure boy toys, Wyoming, the Tar Sands rallies and MUCH more. And its been decided we’re going on a run tomorrow morning… 

Can’t wait for the first day of classes!
